Claverack Builders Is Now — CB Design / Build

It's a new year and we felt it was about time for us to add 'design' to our name and play with AI. We fed our robot assistant the facts and asked for —
"a funny, entertaining design department origin story". This is the edited version of what she spit out:

Picture this: it's 2015 and Andrew, our Design Wizard, crosses paths with Jock, the phoenix rising from construction demo dust.
Jock, a modern-day Hercules, was breathing new life into his family legacy, Claverack Builders, while Andrew, having bid adieu to the New York City hustle, was basking in the pastoral bliss of the Hudson Valley and tinkering in his barn.
In a twist of fate, Andrew finds himself coordinating a complex magical undertaking for a buddy's buddy in northern Dutchess County, transforming a quirky castle home with stucco – as rare in these lands as a unicorn.
Through a labyrinth of six different Builders' Bids, the project leads Andrew to Jock.
Jock, not just serving the most advantageous bid, but also the charm and abilities of a seasoned mystic warrior, lands the job.
Their collaboration unfolds like a well-cast spell, each bringing their unique magic and might to the project, and the result is Gold: a happy, satisfied client.
As they prepare to part ways, Jock suggests, "Why not blend Design and Build under one roof?" And voilà! Andrew hops on board part-time, then full-time as Design Director, and before you know it, they're shaking hands on a partnership.
Fast-forward through a multi-year montage of jaw dropping renovations, energy upgrades and air tight new custom homes, Claverack Builders becomes CB Design / Build. Now showcasing a 6 person Design Dream Team, and flexing a 17 strong Construction Crew.
Andrew's vision?
To transform the land with Passive Houses and communities thoughtfully designed with permaculture principles.
And Jock’s?
To turn the company into the gold standard of construction, the go-to name when people think 'sustainable design build'.
